“I feel like love is equal, I guess, so when a man and a woman love each other that’s equal; if a man and a man love each other, that’s equal too; if a woman and a woman love each other, then that’s equal as well.”
Experiencing the Body and Blood of Christ: Communicating Biblical Truth To Late Millennials and Generation Z is a study by Andrew Fox on the story of how 425 students from St. Edward’s University in Austin, Texas (including faculty) to find out what their perception was when it comes to participating in the Sacrament of the Holy Communion.
There are six sections in this book, starting right at the history of the significance of the Holy Communion and how it all began.
But the true essence of this book is the students recountment of how through the power of the Holy Communion their lives changed when they experienced God.
Even though this might be a heavy read for those who aren’t involved in religious studies, if you are and you are willing to put in the effort to learn about the Bible, this is an in depth look into it because it does not stick to what was taught in the past, but how in the present world, we can still adapt what is taught to us.
Although some of the view points may not be acceptable to certain people, everyone has their own way of interpreting what it means to be a Christian.
We’re all on different paths to the same destination.
